România vrea să ajungă la 10 GW de energie solară și eoliană până în 2030. Planul anunțat de Guvern • Newsweek România
Romania aims to install 10 GW of solar and wind energy capacity by 2030, as announced by the Ministry of Energy. This ambitious target is part of a broader strategy to enhance renewable energy production and includes investments in energy storage solutions, particularly batteries and hydro storage. The government has allocated over 3 billion euros to support renewable energy projects through a contracts-for-difference scheme, providing investors with revenue predictability. Additionally, Romania plans to continue developing hydro energy and improve energy efficiency in buildings, promoting nearly zero-energy buildings (NZEB).
