The Romanian government has approved additional funding for the Ministry of Culture to support participation in the Village of Francophonie 2026 in Cambodia. This cultural event showcases the identity and diversity of Francophone countries through national pavilions, exhibitions, and performances. Romania's pavilion will feature the theme "JEU INFINI – Créer le possible," highlighting national heritage and contemporary creation. The space aims to foster direct interaction between the public and Romanian artists through various activities. Romania has a long-standing relationship with Francophonie, being a full member since 1993 and previously hosting the summit in 2006.
