România va găzdui Campionatul Mondial de hochei pe gheață, Divizia I/B, ediția 2027

Romania will host the 2027 Ice Hockey World Championship Division I/B in Târgu Mureș, as announced by the Romanian Ice Hockey Federation. The decision was made during the IIHF Semiannual Congress in Tenerife. The tournament is scheduled for May 1-7, 2027, featuring six teams: Japan, China, Romania, South Korea, Spain, and the Netherlands. Matches will be held in a new arena in Târgu Mureș, marking Romania's second senior World Championship in three years. The event reflects Romania's growing reputation in international ice hockey and the IIHF's confidence in its organizational capabilities.
