România va avea o nouă vamă cu Ucraina, la Sighetu Marmației / ”Demersul răspunde solicitărilor formulate de reprezentanții comunității românești din Ucraina”

The Romanian government announced the establishment of a new border crossing point with Ukraine between Sighetu Marmației and Bila Terkva. This initiative follows a memorandum between the two governments aimed at adapting border operations to local needs. The existing crossing at Sighetu Marmației – Solotvino will remain operational 24/7. The decision responds to requests from the Romanian community in Ukraine and local authorities for improved mobility and economic continuity. The proposal is based on evaluations from Romanian diplomatic missions in Ukraine and bilateral technical meetings.
