Romania is set to build its first rowing arena on Lake Pantelimon, with an investment of €3.2 million, expected to be completed by 2028. The facility will meet Olympic standards and will not allow motorboats, ensuring a dedicated space for rowing. The project aims to host the European Championships after the 2028 Olympics, with significant contributions from OMV Petrom and the Romanian Rowing Federation. The arena will feature a 40,000 square meter area, including spectator stands and training facilities.
