Romania is set to experience a significant drop in temperatures, transitioning to autumn weather next week. According to Elena Mateescu from the National Meteorological Administration, cold air will affect the country, especially the northern regions, where temperatures may fall below normal levels. Precipitation and strong winds are expected in mountainous areas. The cold front will begin to manifest on Monday, with the coldest day anticipated on Wednesday, September 23. While northern areas may see highs of only 13-14 degrees Celsius, southern regions could still experience temperatures around 18-20 degrees. The end of this week will still have summer-like temperatures, ranging from 20 to 32 degrees Celsius, particularly in the capital.
