Romania excelled at the U23 European Rowing Championships in Kruszwica, winning multiple gold medals across various events. Iulica Ursu and Andreea Petras secured the first gold in women's double sculls, finishing 3.16 seconds ahead of Lithuania. The men's four, consisting of Cosmin Pleșescu and others, also claimed gold, as did the women's team. Romania dominated in the eights category for both men and women, with Bianca Ifteni winning gold in women's single sculls. The mixed double sculls were won by David Chitic and Stejara Olariu, and Romania concluded the competition with a victory in the mixed eights. These results reaffirm Romania's strong position in U23 rowing on the European stage.
