România sprijină Serbia în lupta împotriva incendiilor. Elicopterul Black Hawk al MAI, prima misiune internațională

Romania is assisting Serbia in combating wildfires in a natural reserve by deploying a Black Hawk rescEU helicopter. This marks the helicopter's first international mission. The fires have affected 3,500 hectares in Deliblato Sands, with smoke visible in Romania. Serbian authorities requested help through the EU Civil Protection Mechanism, leading to Romania's involvement. A total of 69 personnel and 15 technical units from Romania's emergency services have been sent to support firefighting efforts. The Black Hawk helicopter is part of the European rescEU reserve for rapid emergency response.
