România și Polonia cooperează în industria de apărare prin SAFE

Romania and Poland signed a letter of intent for defense cooperation under the European SAFE instrument, focusing on joint procurement of loitering munition systems. The agreement aims to enhance collaboration in defense industries and includes plans for acquiring 70 systems for land and naval forces. The signing took place at the Romanian Ministry of National Defense, with officials from both countries present. Romania is set to receive a total of 16.68 billion euros through SAFE, with the first payment already made by the European Commission.
