România și Bulgaria devin tot mai atractive ca hub-uri logistice după aderarea completă la Schengen

Romania and Bulgaria are becoming increasingly attractive as transit routes and logistics hubs in Southeast Europe, following significant reductions in border wait times after full Schengen membership. However, further infrastructure investments are necessary to support this growth. The elimination of internal border controls starting January 1, 2025, has removed major obstacles for freight transport, enhancing the operational reliability and integration of both countries into the European logistics network. Despite the positive trends, challenges remain, including the need for improved internal transport infrastructure and addressing the shortage of professional drivers.
