România se pregătește pentru un nou vârf de consum, de peste 7.000 MW
Romania is not facing immediate energy supply risks, but high temperatures will increase consumption and imports. Cristian Bușoi from the Ministry of Energy stated that energy command meetings will be held more frequently. Current production levels are sufficient, but challenges may arise in September if production capacities do not return. The country is monitoring regional energy prices and will advocate for maintaining interconnection capacity with Bulgaria. Bușoi emphasized the importance of resuming production capacities by the end of August to avoid price pressures in September.
