România se pregătește pentru noi scumpiri. BNR a majorat prognoza de inflație și avertizează asupra crizei energetice: "E un risc real"

The National Bank of Romania has revised its inflation forecast from 5.5% to 6.1% by year-end due to the energy crisis. This adjustment reflects potential price increases linked to energy issues and geopolitical tensions in the Middle East. BNR spokesperson Dan Suciu highlighted that energy prices are a significant factor in this forecast, although some price stability in food items may offset inflation. The ongoing oil crisis poses a real risk to inflation predictions. In July, the annual inflation rate in the EU rose to 3%, while Romania reported the highest rate at 8.2%.
