Former Energy Minister Bogdan Ivan announced significant progress on the 'Neptun Deep' gas project in the Black Sea, with extraction expected to begin in 2027. The installation of the 'Neptun Alpha' platform and completion of a 160-kilometer pipeline are key milestones. Ivan emphasized the importance of political support for such large investments and highlighted that Romgaz has secured 500 million euros for strategic investments, including this project. He stressed that extracted gas should benefit the Romanian economy and local industries.
