România scapă de amenințarea „junk”. Standard & Poor's menține ratingul de țară
Standard & Poor's has maintained Romania's credit rating at BBB- with a negative outlook, indicating the country is close to being classified as 'junk'. Despite political instability, fiscal consolidation efforts are on track, with over 90% of Recovery and Resilience Facility allocations secured. The report highlights the importance of a strong government framework to mitigate economic vulnerabilities. Romania has successfully retained its rating from other agencies, and a downgrade could lead to significant economic repercussions. Minister Alexandru Nazare expressed confidence in the country's fiscal projections, while President Nicușor Dan ruled out early elections, emphasizing the need for stability.
