Romania needs to resolve administrative issues to fully receive funds from the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (PNRR). Minister Mihai Ghigiu discussed payment requests with the European Commission, emphasizing the importance of submitting required documentation by November 6. The country must provide evidence of energy efficiency and environmental compliance for certain investments. Additionally, efforts are underway to protect nearly 370 million euros from cohesion funds, with a deadline of December 31 for implementation. Ghigiu stressed the urgency of completing necessary paperwork to avoid losing European funds.
