On Friday, the Romanian Ministry of National Defense's radar surveillance system detected aerial targets near the Ukrainian border. The National Military Command Center alerted the Inspectorate for Emergency Situations to inform the local population. Two F-16 aircraft were deployed to monitor the situation. The alert in Tulcea County ended without any breaches of national airspace being reported.
