România, restantă în fața Comisiei Europene
Romania is among 22 EU member states that missed the September 1 deadline to submit their National Nature Restoration Plan to the European Commission. Only five countries submitted their plans by the deadline. The Romanian Ministry of Environment stated that the plan is still under development and requires extensive technical and scientific groundwork. Although the official submission has not occurred, informal communications with EU experts have taken place. The plan aims to restore degraded ecosystems and will involve consultations with various stakeholders. Final versions of the plans are expected by the end of 2027, with preliminary versions currently under evaluation by the Commission.
