România refuză mecanismul european de urgență. Bușoi: „Situația energetică este sub control”

Romania has declined the European emergency mechanism, asserting that its energy situation is stable despite high consumption and nuclear reactor shutdowns. Secretary of State Cristian Busoi emphasized that regional energy availability can meet peak demands. He noted improvements in the regional market, particularly due to reduced energy imports from Hungary. While high temperatures may pressure the energy system, wind energy production is expected to rise. Busoi confirmed that Romania can import up to 4,000 MW, with Bulgaria being a key supplier. Currently, there are no plans to limit industrial consumption, and no decisions have been made regarding potential restrictions.
