România, printre țările UE în care companiile străine controlează cele mai multe locuri de muncă. Diferența uriașă față de Grecia

Romania has one of the highest shares of jobs in foreign-controlled companies within the EU, at 28%, nearly double the EU average. This significant percentage highlights the role of foreign investors in the Romanian economy, particularly in sectors like automotive and services. Despite the high employment share, this does not necessarily correlate with better economic performance or higher wages. The data from Eurostat indicates that while only 1% of EU companies are foreign-controlled, they account for 16% of the workforce and 24% of total value added. Romania's figures are notably higher than Greece's 8%, showcasing a stark contrast in foreign investment impact across Europe.
