România, printre cele mai periculoase țări din UE pentru şoferi. Capcanele mortale ascunse pe șosele

Romania ranks among the most dangerous EU countries for drivers, with high road fatality rates and numerous hidden dangers on its roads. A recent tragic accident in Cluj highlights the urgent need for improved road safety measures. The country has the second highest road death rate in the EU, with 68 fatalities per million inhabitants, surpassed only by Bulgaria. Many roads lack proper safety features, increasing the risk of severe accidents. Defensive driving and better signaling are crucial for preventing accidents, as highlighted by experts. In 2025, nearly 4,000 serious accidents occurred, resulting in around 1,300 deaths and over 3,000 serious injuries.
