Romania excelled at the European Rowing Championships in Kruszwica, Poland, securing the top position in the medal standings with 9 golds and 1 silver. The event took place on September 5-6, featuring 12 teams and 34 athletes from Romania. Following Romania in the medal tally were Germany, Greece, Italy, Czech Republic, and Switzerland. Notable gold medal wins included the women's double sculls and men's four, among others.
