România primește prima plată de 2,5 miliarde de euro prin SAFE

Romania received its first payment of 2.5 billion euros under the Security Action for Europe (SAFE) initiative, aimed at enhancing defense capabilities. This funding is part of a larger EU plan to mobilize over 800 billion euros for defense investments. The payment will support Romania's military modernization and resilience, contributing to European security. SAFE, a 150 billion euro financial tool, facilitates loans for member states to enhance joint defense capabilities and strengthen the European defense industry. Future payments will follow as agreed milestones are met.
