România primește ajutor de 14,3 milioane de euro de la UE, pentru dezastrul hidrologic de la Praid

Romania will receive €14.3 million from the EU Solidarity Fund due to the severe flooding in Praid that affected the salt mine. The funds are aimed at covering emergency response and recovery costs in the Central, South-Muntenia, and North-East regions, following significant damage caused by the floods. The European Commission also approved €120.5 million for Spain, which faced devastating droughts and wildfires in 2025. Both countries requested support from the EU Solidarity Fund in 2025, and the decisions follow the European Parliament and Council's approval of the Commission's proposal. Since its establishment in 2002, the Fund has provided over €11 billion for various disasters across EU member states.
