România pregătește reluarea exporturilor de ovine. O delegație din Libia evaluează fermele și abatoarele
Romania is working to resume sheep exports to Libya, which were halted due to outbreaks of sheep and goat pox. A Libyan delegation is assessing Romanian farms and slaughterhouses to ensure sanitary conditions for safe trade. The discussions focus on the measures Romania has implemented to control the disease and prevent its spread through live animal trade. The visit includes inspections of farms and collection centers, as well as the Institute for Diagnostic and Animal Health. Romania aims to reopen several export markets, including Saudi Arabia and Jordan, as the Middle East and North Africa are traditional destinations for Romanian livestock. The resumption of exports depends on the epidemiological situation and the acceptance of Romania's sanitary guarantees by partner countries.
