The majority of deaths were among the elderly, with over 40% aged 80 and above. Additionally, 15,016 marriages and 2,105 divorces were registered during the same month. The data indicates a continuing demographic crisis in Romania, with urban areas seeing a higher percentage increase in deaths than rural areas.
