România pierde masiv competitivitate și se dezindustrializează masiv și accelerat
Recent data from INS indicates that Romania is experiencing significant deindustrialization and loss of competitiveness. Industrial production decreased by 6.3% compared to July 2025, with 77% of industrial sectors reporting declines. The processing industry faced the largest drop, impacting economic performance and exports. The workforce in the industrial sector has shrunk dramatically, losing 70,000 jobs in just over a year. Romania fell 12 places in the 2026 global competitiveness ranking, now positioned at 61, while neighboring countries like Poland improved their standings significantly.
