România, pe ultimul loc în UE la competențe digitale

Romania ranks last in the EU for digital skills, with only 31.84% of its population possessing basic or higher digital competencies. Despite improvements in internet access, where 95.47% of households are connected, the digital skills gap remains significant. The country has seen a decrease in the percentage of people who have never used the internet, but it still lags behind other EU nations, particularly in the younger demographic. In contrast, countries like the Netherlands, Ireland, and Denmark report over 80% digital competency rates.
