The report highlights the risks of youth being disconnected from education and the labor market. The EU aims to reduce the NEET rate to 9% by 2030, with several countries already achieving this goal. In 2025, Romania, Bulgaria, and Greece had the highest NEET rates, while the Netherlands, Sweden, and Slovenia reported the lowest.
