România, patru medalii la Olimpiada Internațională de Geografie! Performanță remarcabilă pentru elevii români
Romania achieved four medals at the International Geography Olympiad in Istanbul, showcasing the high level of student preparation. The competition took place from August 11 to 17, with participants from 50 countries. The Romanian team secured two silver and two bronze medals, with silver awarded to Mihai Macsim and Maria Moldovan, and bronze to David Gărăiman and Cristina-Daria Toderici. The team was led by professors Mihaela and Dorin Fiscutean, who prepared the students for both theoretical and practical challenges. This success follows a strong performance at the European Geography Olympiad, where Romania won five gold and three silver medals, reinforcing the country's top position in international geography competitions.
