România obţine un credit de 120 milioane euro de la BERD pentru majorarea producţiei de energie regenerabilă
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is financing Romania's transition to clean energy with a €120 million package for the Părău 2 solar project. This initiative includes a 342 MW solar power plant and a 150 MW/300 MWh battery storage system in Brașov. The project aims to enhance renewable energy production, increase grid flexibility, and strengthen Romania's energy security. The financing consists of an A loan of up to €57 million and a B loan of up to €63 million, supported by various banks and the EU's InvestEU program, which provides a portfolio guarantee. The combination of solar generation and battery storage will facilitate the integration of more variable renewable energy into Romania's electricity system.
