România nu mai are energie nucleară, pentru prima dată după 23 de ani din cauza debitului redus al Dunării. Ce resurse acoperă consumul actual
Romania's nuclear energy production has dropped to zero after the controlled shutdown of the second reactor at Cernavoda due to low Danube water levels. This situation marks the first time in 23 years that both reactors are offline for this reason. Currently, over 40% of the country's energy comes from solar sources, with significant contributions from gas and wind. Nuclearelectrica operates the Cernavoda plant, which typically provides about 20% of Romania's electricity. The last similar incident occurred in 2003, prompting updates to operational thresholds and cooling systems.
