România nu cere încă ajutor de urgență pentru energie. Bușoi: „Situația este sub control” • Newsweek România

Romania currently does not need to request emergency energy assistance from the EU, as the energy market is stable and functional. Secretary of State Cristian Busoi noted that regional energy availability is sufficient despite rising consumption due to heatwaves. The situation has improved with reduced imports from Hungary and the reopening of nuclear capacities. However, the country faces challenges due to limited nuclear production and low water levels affecting safety. Romania can import up to 4,000 MW, primarily from Bulgaria, without risking supply security. Currently, there are no plans to limit consumption for large industrial users.
