România, locul 2 la EuroBasket U18: Promovare în Divizia A

Romania's U18 women's basketball team finished second at the FIBA U18 Women’s EuroBasket 2026, losing to Israel in the final. Despite the defeat, the team returned to the elite of European women's U18 basketball after a 14-year absence. Romania had a strong tournament, winning all group matches and defeating Bulgaria and Lithuania in the knockout stages. Two players, Ioana Velcea and Daria Ilieș, were named to the tournament's best team.
