Romania continues to lead the EUTM RCA mission for the fourth consecutive year, reflecting its commitment to supporting the Central African Republic. Brigadier General Irinel Apostolescu has taken command from Brigadier General Claudiu-Mădălin Tamaș during a ceremony in Bangui. This mission aims to enhance the capabilities of the Central African Armed Forces through strategic advice and military training. The ongoing leadership demonstrates Romania's dedication to defense capacity development in the region and strengthens partnerships with local authorities and international partners. The EUTM RCA mission has been operational since 2016, involving military personnel from nine participating states.
