România își reduce deficitul, dar nu scapă de presiune. Nazare: Urmează evaluarea S&P
Romania's interim Finance Minister, Alexandru Nazare, reported a budget deficit reduction to 2.34% of GDP, down from 3.99% last year. Despite this improvement, he cautioned that the deficit issue remains unresolved, with interest payments exceeding 40 billion lei. Nazare emphasized the importance of maintaining fiscal discipline and structural corrections to ensure sustainable financial management. He noted that while revenues increased by 11.2%, total expenditures rose only by 2.9%. The upcoming S&P rating evaluation will be crucial for Romania's fiscal credibility, especially amid high financing costs.
