România își extinde „autostrăzile” energetice până în 2035: interconectarea a ajuns la 18,5%, peste ținta UE. Blocaje la granițele cu Bulgaria și Ungaria
Romania plans to implement 117 major investments in its electricity network by 2035 to enhance energy security and facilitate renewable energy integration. Despite exceeding the EU interconnection target of 15% with a rate of 18.5%, limitations still hinder electricity exchanges with Bulgaria and Hungary. The National Energy Regulatory Authority (ANRE) has mandated Transelectrica to expedite the completion of interconnection projects. The investment plan includes modernizing infrastructure, expanding transport capacity, and developing cross-border connections. Enhanced interconnections will provide Romania with greater flexibility for energy imports and exports, especially during peak demand or production surpluses.
