România instalează sistemul american anti-drone "Black Talon" în patru porturi militare la Dunăre și Marea Neagră
Romania is enhancing security at its military ports through the implementation of the 'Black Talon' drone defense system, developed in collaboration with the U.S. Navy. This system can disrupt the connection between drones and their operators, addressing the rising incidents related to aerial and maritime drones amid the Ukraine conflict. The first installation will occur at Constanța port, with testing already underway and operations expected by the end of October. The system features advanced sensors and 3D radar for comprehensive surveillance and can neutralize threats. Following a drone incident in June, Romania is also increasing underwater monitoring capabilities to protect its naval assets and the Neptun Deep gas production area, set to begin in 2027.
