România încearcă să crească capacitatea de stocare a energiei în baterii. Bolojan anunță două programe: „Din 2027 vom avea rezultate”

Romania is enhancing its energy storage capabilities to better utilize solar and wind energy, with new funding schemes announced by interim Prime Minister Ilie Bolojan. Two financing programs are set to support energy storage investments, with a total of 80 million euros available from the Ministry of Environment and a larger amount from the Modernization Fund. Bolojan emphasized the need for urgent authorization of advanced energy projects, as the installed storage capacity is expected to reach 1,500 MW by 2027 and 2028. This development aims to address the current storage deficit and improve energy management during peak demand hours.
