România, în topul țărilor europene la achiziția de produse electronice accesibile
A recent study reveals Romania ranks fourth in Europe for purchasing affordable electronic products, known as Fast Tech, but last in recycling them. The WEEE Forum's campaign highlights the growing issue of electronic waste, particularly small, inexpensive devices. While 92.1% of Romanians have bought Fast Tech items, only 25.7% recycle them, with many opting to keep them at home. The study indicates that low prices often outweigh durability concerns, leading to impulsive purchases. Consumers are encouraged to consider the long-term value and responsible disposal of electronic devices, especially as they contain critical raw materials. International E-Waste Day, observed on October 14, promotes proper recycling practices.
