România face un pas important pentru stocarea energiei. Fost ministru al Energiei: „Centrala hidroelectrică Frasin-Pângărați a primit undă verde. Investiție de peste un miliard de euro”
The Frasin-Pângărați pumped storage hydroelectric power plant has received environmental approval, with an investment exceeding 1 billion euros. It will have a capacity of 300-340 MW, acting as a battery for the national energy system. The project involves constructing over six kilometers of tunnels and could employ up to 1,000 workers over four to five years. The stored energy could supply around 20% of Romanian households for 24 hours. The system will utilize surplus energy, including from renewable sources, enhancing energy stability and security in Romania.
