Romanian table tennis players excel at the European Championships, with three women qualifying directly for the main phase. Elena Zaharia, Adina Diaconu, and Ioana Sîngeorzan topped their groups, joining three other compatriots already qualified. Zaharia dominated her match against Belgium's Lessia Lewyckyj, while Diaconu and Sîngeorzan also secured their spots with solid performances. Bianca Mei-Roșu finished second in her group and still hopes to advance as a 'lucky loser'.
