România, exporturi de 6,4 miliarde de dolari în SUA. Aproape 40% sunt servicii IT. Ce importăm de la americani - StartupCafe
In 2025, Romania exported goods and services worth $6.4 billion to the U.S., while imports were around $3 billion, highlighting a significant trade surplus. IT and communication services accounted for approximately $2.4 billion of these exports, making up nearly 40% of the total. The analysis by AmCham Romania indicates that trade between the two countries is growing faster than investments, with the U.S. being the largest non-EU investor in Romania. Despite the positive trade balance, the report notes that defense purchases are not included in these figures. The U.S. ranks 15th in Romania's export markets and 18th in import sources. American investments in Romania exceed $9 billion, primarily in technology and advanced manufacturing, but investor caution remains due to economic stability concerns.
