Romania is nearing its accession to the OECD, having secured 24 out of 25 necessary approvals. Foreign Minister Oana Ţoiu announced this progress during the Annual Meeting of Romanian Diplomacy. Romania leads among countries in the accession process, with significant technical reforms completed. A new council meeting is scheduled for September to evaluate further progress. The National Bank of Romania projects GDP growth of 0.8% to 1% with accession.
