Romania will stop collecting tolls for the Giurgiu-Ruse bridge starting October 1, aiming to ease traffic. The Romanian Ministry of Transport has requested Bulgaria to consider a similar measure. Secretary of State Horațiu Cosma indicated that existing bilateral treaties allow for such changes. Additionally, from next month, drivers will cross three key Danube bridges for free, including Fetești-Cernavodă and Giurgiu-Vadu Oii.
