România domină Europenele U23 de canotaj din Polonia
Romania achieved remarkable success at the U23 European Rowing Championships in Kruszwica, Poland, winning nine gold medals and one silver. This placed Romania first in the medal standings, ahead of Germany and Greece. Notable victories included the women's double sculls and men's and women's four, as well as mixed and men's eight. Bianca-Camelia Ifteni secured gold in the women's single sculls, while David Costel Chitic and Stejara Olariu triumphed in the mixed double sculls. The only silver medal was earned by Mateus-Simion Cozminciuc and Fabrizio-Alexandru Scripcariu in the men's double sculls, finishing behind Greece. Romania's performance is among its best at the U23 Championships, matching its gold medal count from 2019.
