România contorizează inteligent energia aproape cel mai puțin din Europa. Țările care au ajuns la aproape 100%
Romania plans to invest 100 million euros in smart meters, aiming to install over 800,000 units by 2025. Currently, only 34.5% of consumption points are equipped with smart metering systems, lagging behind many European countries. The implementation pace has increased, with 686,000 new users integrated in 2025, but disparities exist among distribution operators. While some operators exceeded targets, others fell short due to procurement issues and workforce limitations. The government aims to encourage off-peak consumption through dynamic pricing, but the impact remains limited due to insufficient commercial offers. The ANRE regulator acknowledges the need for better integration of existing infrastructure and effective data utilization.
