România, codașa UE la finanțarea cercetării: doar 18,8 euro pe locuitor în 2025

In 2025, EU governments allocated approximately €130.2 billion for research and development, marking a 2.4% increase from 2024. Romania has the lowest funding per capita, with only €18.8 allocated for R&D. Luxembourg leads with €917.2 per capita, while Bulgaria saw the highest growth in funding since 2015. Overall, 37.3% of the budget was directed towards general knowledge development.
