România cere bani europeni pentru regiunile afectate de tranziția energetică și după 2027

Romania has outlined key priorities for the EU budget, including the continuation of the Just Transition Fund beyond 2027 and increased flexibility for local authorities in using EU funds. Europarliament member Victor Negrescu, alongside local officials, discussed these priorities with the European Commission's DG REGIO. The Just Transition Fund aims to support regions affected by the shift to a low-carbon economy. Romanian representatives also requested funding for urban modernization and flood risk protection. Negrescu emphasized the need for local authorities to play a significant role in determining the allocation of EU funds in the next multiannual budget.
