România are cele mai goale depozite de gaze din ultimii ani, în timp ce prețul pe piața europeană e record al ultimilor 3 ani / Cine va plăti facturi mai mari la iarnă
Europe's gas stocks have reached a record low, raising concerns about price spikes during a cold winter. Romania, however, is in a better position than many EU countries despite low storage levels. The price of gas has surged due to a significant drop in LNG exports from Qatar, exacerbated by geopolitical tensions. While EU gas storage is only 63% full, Romania's is at 68%, but still lower than previous years. Current legislation ensures that household gas bills will not increase until March 2027, but industrial consumers will face higher costs, impacting product prices. The Energy Ministry is urging faster gas storage to prepare for increased demand.
