România a trecut de 8.000 MW consum de energie. Importurile au sărit de 2.000 MW în plină criză energetică

Romania's electricity consumption reached a peak of 8,063 MW on Tuesday evening, surpassing previous monthly highs. The internal production was only 5,873 MW, necessitating imports to cover the shortfall. This situation highlights the strain on the energy system, especially during peak evening hours. The Ministry of Energy has urged reductions in energy use until the end of August due to the high demand. The current energy alert status has been in place since July 31, allowing for potential consumption limits on large industrial users.
